The Texas Christian University Cheerleaders are selling a calendar featuring the "Spirit of TCU" with a portion of the proceeds going to the Molly Hesselbrock fund, according to an announcement from the school.

The calendar will also be given out free of charge to the first 500 fans to arrive for the Horned Frogs Feb. 5 home basketball game with East Carolina. The game is scheduled for a 2 p.m. tip-off and the cheerleaders will be on hand to autograph the calendars.

Molly, a cheerleader and dancer, has had an ongoing battle with large cell Lymphoma, noted the announcement, which added that she has been a source of inspiration to the team.

The cheerleaders plan to donate 50 percent of the proceeds collected from the sales of the calendar to Molly's fund. The TCU Cheer also will dedicate the calendar and the squad's upcoming spring Daytona Beach competition to Molly.

Calendars may be ordered by mail by sending a check to:

TCU Cheer
TCU Box 292157
Fort Worth, TX 76129

The announcement indicates that orders will be filled by mail and requests that the shipping address be included with each order.

Green Wave wideout lands spot in Senior Bowl

NEW ORLEANS — Tulane wide receiver Roydell Williams has been added to the South team roster for the 2005 Senior Bowl in Mobile, Ala. and will play in the nationally-televised game Saturday at Ladd-Peebles Stadium.

Williams, the Tulane and Conference USA career record-holder for touchdown passes with 35, caught 52 passes for 826 yards and 12 TDs in his senior season. The LaPlace, La. native was a first-team All Conference choice for the second straight season after averaging 15.9 yards per catch and 82.6 receiving yards per game. Williams ranked 25th nationally in receiving yards per game in 2004, while his 12 TD catches put him 48th in scoring. He caught at least one touchdown pass in seven of Tulane's last eight games and totaled four 100-yard receiving games.

Williams is the 41st Tulane player all-time invited to play in the Senior Bowl, which will be played for the 56th time in 2005. At least one Green Wave player has played in five of the last six games, including current NFL players Shaun King (1999), Patrick Ramsey (Offensive MVP of the 2002 game), and J.P. Losman and Mewelde Moore, who each played in the 2004 game.

The 2005 Senior Bowl will be played Saturday, Jan. 29 beginning at 3 p.m. (CST) at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile. The contest will be nationally televised by ESPN2 and ESPN also will air three one-hour specials from Senior Bowl practices on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 2-3 p.m. Williams and the rest of his South squad teammates are being coached during the week by the coaching staff of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
