Billikens' star guard leaves team indefinitely
ST. LOUIS — Saint Louis guard Reggie
Bryant is on indefinite leave of absence to tend to a family emergency,
Billikens basketball coach Brad Soderberg announced on Friday.
Bryant flew home to Baltimore on
Wednesday night to be with his brother, who has been hospitalized, and the
rest of his family, Soderberg said.
``Until Reggie informs us of his plans,
we don't know when he will return to the team,'' he said in a statement.
``At this point, our prayers are with Reggie and his family.''
Bryant is the Billikens' leading scorer
at 13.8 points per game. St. Louis played host to Charlotte at Savvis Center
on Saturday, losing 83-78 in overtime.
