East Carolina's first home
basketball game in more than a month will take place later rather than
sooner as a result of the winter storm that struck the South in recent
days.
The Conference USA clash
between the Pirates and Alabama-Birmingham scheduled for tonight at
Minges Coliseum will be played at a later date because of
weather-related flight disruptions in Birmingham, AL, and elsewhere, ECU
Athletics announced in a Tuesday release.
A makeup date for the game
will be announced soon, indicated the release.
The Pirates will finally
return to their familiar home hardwood in Williams Arena on Saturday
when they host league foe Tulane at 5 p.m. ECU's last home game was
on Dec. 7th against Old Dominion.
