East Carolina will tee up the football in front of broad audiences on national television at least six times this fall and on a prominent Internet streaming platform on other occasions.
The American Conference announced on Wednesday the games it and its primary television partners have assigned for ECU. The lineup includes:
- Home opener against Appalachian State (Sept. 12, noon, ESPNU)
- Home game with UAB (Oct. 15, 7:30 p.m., ESPN/ESPN2)
- A visit to Memphis (Oct. 22, 7:30 p.m., ESPN2)
- Home game with South Florida (Nov. 6, 7:30 p.m., ESPN2)
- A trip to West Point for a battle with Army (Nov. 21, noon, CBSS).
As previously announced, the Pirates will kick off the season at Alabama at noon on Saturday, Sept. 5, on ABC.
The American’s release also listed contests that are currently scheduled for the ESPN+ streaming service. Those matchups include a road challenge at Old Dominion (Sept. 19, 6 p.m.) and a home game with N.C. Central (Sept. 26, 4 p.m.).
The remainder of the Pirates’ kickoff times and TV assignments will be announced following the finalization of television broadcast schedules.
ECU Athletics has indicated that season ticket orders are still on sale with packages starting at $75 for the six-game home slate. Tickets may be purchased on ECUPirates.com or by calling the ECU Athletics Ticket Office at (252) 737-4500 (Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m.).
