Really hated to learn that Hardy Minshew left ECU. He was one of our bright spots last year. Hope we can fill his shows. I pray that we can get the offensive and defensive lines sured-up. I believe that is where we needed help most of all last season. It will be interesting to see how we do next season with so much new talent, etc. GGGGO.....PIRATESES!!

Can't say that I keep up with ECU basketball, but while surfing the TV on Saturday, I ran across the ECU/Memphis game and got hooked on it when I noticed that ECU was up by a couple points. Against Memphis of all teams. Turned out to be a fantastic game and so proud of my Pirates. GGOO...PIRATES and keep it up.

Excellent article. I got BBQ'd on 247 a week ago for saying basically the same thing. If we take of the purple shades, we don't have the history to be a destination job. Time to think out of the box. Thanks.

Interesting that after the athletic department spent the whole Fall trying to get us to be called ECU, the new uniforms said East Carolina and ESPN called us (worst of all) E.Carolina.

Two questions guys. Now that Compher has a long term contract in place, how is ECU going to pay TWO AD's on our shoestring budget? Second, who are you going to hire? Keep in mind we don't want anyone who is currently an AD as that would prove disloyalty of the applicant, right?
