PORTSMOUTH, VA — DePaul senior forward Quemont Greer scored 18 points and Houston senior guard guard Andre Owens scored 16 points, grabbed five rebounds and handed out three assists to help the Portsmouth Sports Club win the championship game in the 2005 Portsmouth Invitational.

The Invitational, featuring 64 of the top seniors in college basketball, is the only post-collegiate event before the NBA Draft Camp in Chicago.

Greer's 18 pointsl led the Sports Club in scoring, while Owens and Chuck Hayes of Kentucky added 16 points each.

In his three games at the Portsmouth Invitational, Owens averaged 14.7 points, 5.7 rebounds and 3.7 assists.
