PLAYERS OF THE WEEK*

OFFENSE: East Carolina junior quarterback Shane Carden earned offensive honors for the third time this season and the sixth time in his career after setting a school single-game record by accounting for seven touchdowns in a rout of Tulsa. Carden passed for five scores and ran for two more.

DEFENSE: Louisiana Tech sophomore defensive back Adairius Barnes was recognized for his defensive play after snagging two interceptions in a win over Southern Miss.

SPECIAL TEAMS: Texas-San Antonio junior kicker Sean Ianno garnered the special teams award after booting the winning field goal in a triumph over Tulane.
