for 262 yards and 5 touchdowns with no interceptions in
a 61-13 rout of Southern Miss. |

DEFENSE: Florida Atlantic junior cornerback
D'Joun Smith was recognized for his defensive play after
recording 3 interceptions, a pass breakup and 2 tackles
in a 34-17 upset win over Tulane. |

SPECIAL TEAMS: North Texas senior return
specialist Brelan Chancellor garnered the special teams
award after giving his team the lead for good by
returning a punt 65 yards for a touchdown in a 28-16
victory over Rice. |
