Carden earned offensive honors for the second time this
season and the fifth time in his career after accounting
for six touchdowns � three rushing and three passing �
in
a 55-31 rout of
North Carolina in Chapel Hill. |

DEFENSE: Tulane sophomore cornerback Jordan
Batiste was recognized for his defensive play after
recording eight tackles, a sack and an interception and
forcing a fumble that was returned for a touchdown in a
31-14 win at Louisiana-Monroe. |

SPECIAL TEAMS: UAB junior kicking specialist Ty
Long garnered the special teams award for the second
time in his career after converting all three of his
field goal attempts in a loss at Vanderbilt. |
