East Carolina plays its first night game of the season at Old Dominion tonight at 6 p.m. (ESPN+). Conditions at kickoff in Norfolk are expected to be 78 degrees with partly cloudy skies, 69 percent humidity and wind from the North-NorthEast at 11 miles per hour. By the conclusion of the nonconference contest, the temperature will dip to 75 degrees, the humidity will increase to 76 percent and the wind will shift slightly to the East at nine miles per hour. Ballard Stadium has end zones at the North and South ends so the breeze will be blowing across the field. There is a zero percent chance of rain throughout the evening, according to the forecast.
