Join Al Myatt and Kevin Monroe for Episode 5 of Pirate Talk, a podcast devoted to year-round coverage of all things related to topics of interest to East Carolina fans. In this episode, they dive into the status of the football, basketball and basketball programs.

Out of the gate, Myatt and Monroe touch on the suspense opening game opponent Alabama will face as portal quarterbacks Emory Williams and Mitch Griffis vie to become ECU’s starting quarterback. They also provide an overall appraisal of the offensive, defensive and special teams units, taking into consideration the mix of returning and new personnel. The latter portion of the podcast is devoted largely to their observations on the new talents joining the hoops team and the Diamond Pirates’ drive down the stretch to position themselves in the conference race and in the postseason picture.

Pirate Talk is periodically podcast when Myatt and Monroe determine that news or events warrant discussion.
