East Carolina coach Blake Harrell addressed the media Monday and fielded questions on the third day of spring drills. He alluded to some of the program’s goals and indicated his intention to instill a championship mindset and prepare the players to put in the work necessary to win a conference title. The primary task, he said, is to improve each day. Blake noted that Tuesday is Pro-Timing Day.

ECU opens the 2026 season on Sept. 5 at Alabama. The Pirates finished 9-4 last season, capped off by a 23-17 triumph over Pittsburg in the Military Bowl.
