ECU (5-1 American, 7-3 overall) is already destined for a postseason berth and is also still in the chase for the conference championship. UTSA, under sixth-year coach Jeff Traylor, is 3-3, 5-5, but is unbeaten at home in league games (11-0) since joining the American in 2023. The Roadrunners will be fighting to extend that streak against the Pirates to attain bowl eligibility.
