Join Al Myatt and Kevin Monroe for the Bonesville Pregame Show as they preview East Carolina’s American Conference game with Temple. The teams clash Saturday at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia (2:00 p.m., ESPN+). Both the Pirates (4-3 overall, 2-1 American) and Owls (5-3, 3-1) are jockeying for bowl eligibility and positioning in the conference standings.

ECU holds a 12-9 advantage in the series that dates back to 1982. The Pirates defeated Temple 56-34 at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium last season, but the Owls hold the upper hand 6-4 since ECU joined the American in 2014.

Myatt and Monroe analyze the Pirates and their opponent ahead of kickoff each week. Seasoned by five decades of experience as a sports journalist, Myatt has been an anchor columnist for Bonesville since the site’s founding in 2001. Monroe, color analyst for the Pirate Sports Network and a former ECU player, is contributing to Bonesville for the 18th straight year.
