East Carolina takes its first road trip of 2024 with a nonconference matchup at Old Dominion tonight. The temperature is expected to be 75 degrees for the kickoff at 6 p.m. with a 40 percent chance of rain, 84 percent humidity and wind from the north at nine miles per hour. The conditions  at the close of the contest are forecast to include a drop in the mercury to 70 degrees, a 30 percent likelihood of precipitation and 76 percent humidity. Breeze from the north will increase to 13 miles per hour, possibly impacting the passing and kicking aspects of the game. .
