When East Carolina visits Florida Atlantic today for a kickoff at 4 p.m., the temperature is expected to be 84 degrees as the American Athletic Conference contest gets underway. Wind will be 12 miles per hour from the east with gusts of 20 miles per hour. Cloud cover will be 70 percent with 62 percent humidity and a seven percent chance of rain. The temperature is expected to dip to 80 degrees during the game with the wind subsiding slightly to nine miles per hour from the east-northeast with gusts of 16 miles per hour. The field has end zones at the north and south ends so the breeze will be blowing across the playing surface. Cloud cover is projected to diminish to 25 percent as the matchup progresses while humidity will increase to 73 percent. The chance of a shower will drop to two percent.
