Wind could be the biggest factor among weather conditions as East Carolina visits Tulane for a kickoff at 3:30 p.m., Eastern time, today. The temperature is expected to be 82 degrees with sunny skies and 48 percent humidity as the game gets underway at Yulman Stadium in New Orleans. Wind is forecast to be nine miles per hour out of the north at the outset. The Green Wave’s campus facility is a North-South field. The breeze will be blowing from left to right as the Pirates face the field from the visitors’ sideline. As the American Athletic Conference contest winds down, the mercury will dip slightly to 79 degrees, the humidity will rise just a bit to 49 percent and conditions will remain clear. The wind will shift to the north-northEast at 10 miles per hour. Wind was out of the north at 11 miles per hour when ECU last played at Tulane in 2018 and Holton Ahlers completed just 21 of 67 passes in a 24-18 Pirates loss.
