It will feel more like fall as East Carolina hosts Navy when the Pirates open American Athletic Conference play tonight with a 6 p.m. kickoff. The temperature at the outset is expected to be 74 degrees with sunny skies. Humidity is forecast to be 36 percent with wind from the southwest at four miles per hour. Conditions will remain clear with the mercury dropping to 64 degrees by game’s end with humidity increasing to 63 percent and wind out of the south-southwest diminishing to two miles per hour. Differing forecasts rate the chance of rain at zero to two percent.
