Photo Sequences: The East Carolina defense had two key defensive goal-line stands in the fourth quarter. In the first one, senior safety Gerard Stringer recovered a fumble in the Pirates first stand. Sequence includes three pictures. In the second one, cornerback Juan Powell, along with a gang of Pirate defenders, drove back NCSU running back Demie Sumo-Karngbaye on fourth down for the second goal-line denial. Sequence includes four pictures.
