East Carolina plays its first football since the calendar turned to fall as the Pirates host Charleston Southern for a 6 p.m. kickoff. The forecast is calling for a temperature of 72 degrees at the outset of the nonconference matchup with 55 percent humidity and wind from the northwest at five miles per hour. Sunset will be just after 7 p.m. and will be accompanied by temperatures dropping into the 60s. There is a zero chance of precipitation as ECU looks to improve to 2-2.
