The American Athletic Conference announced on Friday more schedule changes in the wake of the detection earlier this week of positive COVID-19 cases involving the Memphis and East Carolina basketball programs.

The schedule changes were made due to ongoing issues with COVID-19 and contact tracing.

No. 8 Houston’s schedule was impacted by the circumstances at ECU and Memphis. The Cougars are not known to be experiencing any COVID issues at this time.

The Tigers’ game at Houston scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 14, and the Pirates’ game at Houston scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 17, have been postponed due to the pauses in basketball activities at Memphis and ECU.

The conference had announced on Thursday that the Cincinnati-Memphis game, scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 11, in Memphis, had been postponed and that a pair of games between the Pirates and Temple, scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 11, in Philadelphia and Saturday, Feb. 13, in Greenville, had been postponed.
