East Carolina baseball coach Cliff Godwin spoke with reporters at a “Greenville Regional Party” at the Mellow Mushroom on Monday. The Pirates were selected as the top seed and will host this weekend’s NCAA regional at Clark-LeClair Stadium. ECU will compete with No. 2 seed South Carolina, No. 3 seed Ohio State and No. 4 seed UNC-Wilmington for the right to advance to the super regional round the following weekend.
