A good day for football appears to be in store as East Carolina hosts South Florida for a noon kickoff today at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium. The forecast is calling for partly cloudy skies and 72 degrees at the outset with 57 percent humidity and wind out of the north-northeast at eight miles per hour. Hourly projections call for a 10 percent chance of a shower at 2 p.m., otherwise no chance of precipitation. Skies will clear by the end of the American Athletic Conference contest and the temperature is projected to be 73 degrees with 48 percent humidity and winds north-northeast at nine miles per hour.
