The forecast is calling for favorable weather as East Carolina hosts Virginia Tech in college football at 3:30 p.m. today. According to the outlook, skies will be partly cloudy at kickoff with a temperature of 84 degrees. Humidity will be 60 percent with a 20 percent chance of rain. Winds are expected to be out of the northeast at seven miles per hour. By the end of the nonconference contest, the temperature will drop to 74 degrees and skies will clear. The humidity will increase to 82 percent and the chance of rain will diminish to 15 percent. There will be slight wind shift to the east-northeast with the velocity projected to be six miles per hour.
