There is a good chance of rain throughout the day as East Carolina hosts James Madison in the season opener at 6 p.m. Conditions at kickoff were expected to include a temperature of 76 degrees, a 55 percent chance of showers and winds out of the south at 8 mph. The forecast for 8 p.m. was calling for 71 degrees, a 30 percent chance of showers and winds from the south-southwest at 7 mph.
