The forecast is calling for partly cloudy skies and 79 degrees as East Carolina hosts Central Florida for a noon kickoff today in the American Athletic Conference football opener for both teams. Humidity is projected to be at 67 percent with a 20 percent chance of a shower. Winds are expected to be south-southwest at six miles per hour at the outset. The temperature may rise slightly and the humidity could drop a bit during the contest. The wind is expected to shift to the south and diminish. The chance of rain during the matchup will remain at 20 percent.
