ROSEMONT, IL — Drake Diener and Delonte Holland scored 17 each and Quemont Greer had 13 points and 10 rebounds to lead DePaul to a 68-65 upset over No. 13 Cincinnati on Thursday night.

Fans were chanting "Nah-nah, hey-hey, goodbye!" as the final seconds ticked off and when the final buzzer sounded, students rushed the floor.

The loss could be a costly one for Cincinnati, which came into the game tied with Memphis for the lead in Conference USA. The Bearcats (20-6, 11-4 C-USA) play Memphis on Saturday in the regular-season finale.

But with so much at stake, Cincinnati picked a bad time to play poorly. The Bearcats, one of the best-shooting teams in C-USA, shot less than 44 percent, lost the rebounding battle 36-27 and had only three players in double figures.

Field Williams led Cincinnati with 14 points, all but two coming from 3-point range. Eric Hicks and Armein Kirkland had 10 each.

Billikens star leaves team to be with ailing Dad

Saint Louis's leading scorer, Reggie Bryant, left the team Thursday to be with his seriously ill father.

Coach Brad Soderberg said it's not clear how long Bryant will be away. Saint Louis' final regular-season game is Friday night at home against Houston.

Bryant scored 15 points for Saint Louis (15-11) in a 75-48 loss to Louisville on Wednesday night. He averages 16.9 points.

The Billikens' game against Houston is one with particular meaning for East Carolina, which is battling the Cougars for the last available spot in the Conference USA Tournament.
