Fans invited to dine with ECU players and coaches
GREENVILLE — East Carolina coach Keith LeClair will unveil his 2002 baseball
club in an informal setting on Saturday, February 2, as ECU hosts its second
annual 'Meet the Pirates' festivities.
The event, scheduled to start at 4 p.m. at Harrington Field, offers fans
a chance to attain autographs and pictures of the ECU baseball team and
enjoy a casual dinner with the Pirate coaches and players.
A limited number of tickets are available at $7 per person and advance
reservations are required. Tickets are available on a first-come,
first-served basis. Reservations may be made by calling the ECU Sports
Marketing Office at (252) 328-4530.
'Meet the Pirates' is scheduled on the same date as the ECU-Saint Louis
men's basketball game, which tips off at 7 p.m. that evening in Williams
Arena at Minges Coliseum.
The Pirate baseball team will begin its pursuit of a fourth consecutive
NCAA Regional appearance and open its first season as a member of Conference
USA on February 15 in the first of a three-game home series against
Delaware.
