West Virginia announces halt to ECU ticket sales

Single-game tickets for East Carolina's game at West Virginia are no longer available from WVU, the Big East school's athletic department announced on Monday.

Debby Travinski, WVU's ticket manager, indicated in a press release that ticket sales for the Mountaineers' Sept. 24 contest with the Pirates have been halted.

The announcement noted that single-game tickets for WVU's home dates against Wofford and Big East rivals Connecticut and Pitt are still available. Regular season tickets are also still on sale, said the release.
