 Certain elements of a real

Montgomery assembled his staff and
put together his first recruiting
class as East Carolina football
coach.

Purvis finally got the offer he wanted |

Raequan
Purvis took a gamble that paid off with an
opportunity he'd dreamed about. A defensive
end/linebacker from tiny Plymouth, a
town of about 4,000 residents in
Northeastern North Carolina, Purvis

ECU (10-13, 2-8) got a
game-high 21 points from senior point guard Prince Williams.

A layup by ECU's
Clarence Williams tied the score at 17 with 11:27 left in the first
half. UConn went ahead to stay at 19-17 on a basket in the paint by
Adams.
