ECU (10-13, 2-8) got a game-high 21 points from senior point guard Prince Williams.

Jalen Adams made seven of eight field goal attempts in a 14-point effort for UConn, which made 35 of 63 as a team for 55.5 percent.

Hamilton controlled 16 rebounds as UConn led 35-30 on the boards. Hamilton also had five assists and three steals.

A layup by ECU's Clarence Williams tied the score at 17 with 11:27 left in the first half. UConn went ahead to stay at 19-17 on a basket in the paint by Adams.

Williams scored with 17:17 remaining to get the Pirates within 46-41. The Huskies subsequently led by 21 points on two occasions.
