share the honor. Carden captured the award for the
second time this season by completing 31 of 43 passes
for 305 yards and four TDs in
the Pirates' 48-28 triumph over
Houston. Cato connected on 34 of 44
passes for 341 yards and four TDs in the Thundering
Herd's 38-28 win over Memphis. |

DEFENSE: Central
Florida senior LB Troy Davis had two sacks, five
tackles, a forced fumble and a quarterback hurry in the
Golden Knights' 42-17 victory over Southern Methodist. |

SPECIAL TEAMS: Tulane
junior K Cairo Santos booted a pair of field goals,
including a school-record 57-yarder, and converted five
PATs in the Green Wave's 49-47 loss to Rice. |
