PLAYERS OF THE WEEK*
Defensive Player of the Week: ECU redshirt freshman linebacker Montese Overton had 10 tackles and a fumble return for a touchdown in the Pirates' C-USA win over Southern Miss.
Offensive Player of the Week: UTEP senior quarterback Nick Lamaison threw for 300 yards and a career-high four touchdowns in the Miners' victory over rival New Mexico State.
Special Teams Player of the Week: ECU junior punter Trent Tignor influenced field position in favor of the Pirates by averaging 42.2 yards on 10 punts, including a pair of boots inside the USM three-yard line and another at the 14-yard line.
