American Athletic Conference commissioner Mike Aresco met with the news media during his visit to Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2016 for the East Carolina-Navy game. Citing the conference’s impressive list of victories over teams from Power Five leagues, Aresco advocates that the Power Five add the AAC to become the Power Six. No such thing as power 5 just money five and the AAC is better than the PAC 12, B12, and just as good as the ACC. Something needs to change ASAP

You are so right John. The power five and large college programs are all about the money. It has gotten so stupid. It used to be a conference was about local rivalry and close proximity to other schools. The big schools are killing college football in the pursuit of TV revenue. Noticed how many empty football stadiums there are on television? I personally do not have a lot of faith in the future of college football. It was far better twenty years ago.

Being ESPN / Money Conference have a monopoly I think the US government should ask why state universities are not spreading the money and opportunity fairly? If you have some time look how US government went after FIFA the world largest sports organization and won. The same needs to happen with Division 1 College football.
