East Carolina into
the first overtime.
With the score
71-69, the Pirates
leading and
defending, Dabney
drove down the side
of the lane and jump
stopped. His left
foot was established
as his pivot foot.
From the fifth frame
to the sixth frame,
with the line
underscoring
American as a frame
of reference, it is
obvious that
Dabney's pivot foot
has moved off the
line. Play continued
and Dabney made the
tying shot with three
seconds left in
regulation in
an
eventual 100-92
triple overtime
