NORFOLK, VA — Old Dominion closed the first half on a 7-0 run for a 28-21 lead at the break and the Monarchs went on to a 68-47 Conference USA win over visiting East Carolina on Thursday night.

The Pirates wrapped up the regular season 16-15 overall and 5-11 in league play.

ECU will head for the C-USA Tournament during spring break, with a first round game against Texas-San Antonio Tuesday night in El Paso, TX. The No. 12 seed Pirates and 13th-seeded Roadrunners will tip off at the Don Haskins Center at 10:30 p.m. ET.
