Josh Peppers scored 25 points, Lavell Payne added 17 and Mike O'Donnell registered 15 to lead Central Florida to a 77-64 Conference USA victory over East Carolina Saturday night in Orlando.

Cory Farmer's 21 points was tops for East Carolina, which also go 14 points from Darrell Jenkins and 10 points and 10 rebounds from Gabe Blair.

The game was the regular season finale for both teams, which head into this week's Conference USA Tournament in Memphis at opposite ends of the seeding order.

The No. 12 seed Pirates (6-23, 1-15 C-USA) will face No. 5 seed Tulsa Wednesday night (9:30 p.m.) in a first round game at the FedEx Forum.

The second-seeded Golden Knights (22-8, 11-5), beneficiaries of a first-round bye, will see their first tourney action at noon on Thursday, when they meet the winner of a day one matchup between No. 7 Rice and No. 10 Texas-El Paso.
